{"id":15149,"date":"2024-10-31T09:19:15","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T14:19:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=15149"},"modified":"2024-11-04T09:37:12","modified_gmt":"2024-11-04T14:37:12","slug":"dead-things","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/15149\/dead-things\/","title":{"rendered":"Dead Things"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I wanted to thank the Lord and you for last night\u2019s reading time.* There were just so many things that were good and beneficial that I was thinking on this morning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I especially liked the section\u00a0on \u201cdead things\u201d.\u00a0 I felt so fortunate to have understanding of that truth.\u00a0 Our brothers and sisters everywhere need to know why\u00a0ONLY\u00a0worship in the\u00a0spirit and truth is acceptable, and WHY, so they could get rid of all the dead things that are dragging them down and separating them from God\u2019s will.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The\u00a0dead things men use (and that I once used)\u00a0divides me\u00a0from my brothers and sisters, because I can\u2019t say Amen to them now.\u00a0 As you said many times, if we would just talk about what God\u2018s done for us, we would all have fellowship.\u00a0 I often\u00a0think about precious people I know in Christianity, (who I would love to be able to worship with again), who are\u00a0separated from me because they hold to the dead traditions and doctrines that were taught them, as I once did.\u00a0 They have no teacher.\u00a0 And I hate that.\u00a0 I wish we could be together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If something is of God, that\u2019s all we really\u00a0need to know.\u00a0 And certainly the dead rituals of Christianity, and any dead thing used in worship\u00a0now, is NOT the way.\u00a0 I feel so thankful to understand that.\u00a0 What worship\u00a0IS of God, I\u2019ve got to have it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Thank you for your labor\u2026.
