Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I just felt like thanking you for teaching the truth when you receive it, especially teaching the necessity of the holy Ghost baptism.<\/span><\/p>\n

I just heard a man online tell his congregation that when the Hebrews in Egypt spread the blood of the slain lamb across their door posts to cause the death angel to pass them by, it was meant to be “a shadow of the blood of Jesus, once we apply that to our lives through faith.”<\/span><\/p>\n

What that man said to those folks will do no one any good.<\/span><\/p>\n

I did not apply the blood of Jesus to my life through faith or otherwise.\u00a0 It was not mine to apply, and I am not required to have faith that it has been applied.\u00a0 I feel what Jesus applied to me.\u00a0 It spoke through me when it came into my heart, and it speaks through me now.\u00a0 It often speaks to me, and it always guides me.\u00a0 It completely overwhelms me at times and is always changing me.<\/span><\/p>\n

That man told his congregation that the relationship with Jesus he has described is their finish line, and they will miss it all if they don’t receive it.<\/span><\/p>\n

I know the words he said can be taken to mean better things, but I know what he meant.\u00a0 He just told those folks they are saved if they just believe it.<\/span><\/p>\n

It made me appreciate the spirit of God that I can feel in me right now.\u00a0 It made me appreciate you and everyone who has told it plainly, just the way it is.<\/span><\/p>\n
