I have been up searching scriptures on healing and stopped to read Luke 10. To slow down and read what is being said here made me want to read it with you. I didn&#8217;t want to read it and feel it all by myself!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Beth<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">=========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Thank you, Beth.\u00a0 I was blessed by slowing down and reading this chapter with your comments.\u00a0 I love how you think.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Luke 10<\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b61.\u00a0After these things, the Lord also appointed\u00a0<strong>seventy<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>others<\/strong>\u00a0and sent them out in pairs before his face into every city and place where he himself was about to go.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I didn&#8217;t realize<em>\u00a0that he sent 70 others to go out.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2. Then he began to tell them, \u201cThe harvest is certainly great, but the workers are few. <strong>So, pray to the Lord of the harvest, that He might send workers out into His harvest<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>This part touched me.<\/em>\u00a0<em>We are His workers.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3. Be on <em>y<\/em>our way. Behold, I am sending\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou away as lambs in the midst of wolves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jesus saying they were going out as lambs among wolves. To really think on that is something. What would happen to a lamb sent in among the wolves.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">4. Don\u2019t take along a money pouch, or a bag, or sandals, and greet no one along the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>They went out humbly with nothing to take but what Jesus sent them with.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5. Into whatever house <em>y<\/em>ou enter, first say, \u2018Peace to this house.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>6. And if a man of peace be there, <em>y<\/em>our peace will rest upon it, but if not, then it will come back on\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>And they were full of peace even when they were rejected.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">7. Remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they have, for the worker is worthy of his pay. Don\u2019t move about from house to house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">8. And into whichever city <em>y<\/em>ou enter,\u00a0<strong>and they receive\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou, eat what is set before\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>That part struck me. Made me think of Paul and not being a stumbling block but being free enough to get past whatever their custom was and just serve the Truth. Jesus wanted these 70 to go out as free as Paul was going to be.<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">9. and <strong>heal<\/strong>\u00a0those in\u00a0<em>that city<\/em>\u00a0who are sick, and tell them, \u2018The kingdom of God is come upon\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>They were sent out with healing power. To heal is to take away a disease or sickness. That is exactly what the holy Ghost does.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>10. But into whatever city <em>y<\/em>ou enter and they do not receive\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou, go out into its streets and say,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>11. \u2018Even the dust of <em>y<\/em>our city that clings to us, we wipe off against\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou! But know this, that the kingdom of God is come upon\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou!\u2019<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>12. I tell <em>y<\/em>ou, for Sodom in that day, it will be more tolerable than for that city.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>13. Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in <em>y<\/em>ou had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have long ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>14. Nevertheless, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the Judgment than for <em>y<\/em>ou!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>15. And you, O Capernaum, the <em>city<\/em>\u00a0exalted up to heaven! You shall be brought down to Hades!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>16. He who hears <em>y<\/em>ou, hears me, and he who rejects\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou, rejects me. But he who rejects me, rejects Him who sent me.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>This made me tremble. What will happen to those who have seen the kingdom of God right in front of them and rejected it. My family saw a great miracle . They saw the real Jesus bring me back to life and restore me to more than I ever was and not one has even asked about what happened. Or\u00a0<strong>Who<\/strong>\u00a0happened.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b617.\u00a0And the seventy returned with joy, saying, \u201cMaster, even the demons are subject to us through your name.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>18. But he said to them, \u201cI watched Satan falling like lightning out of heaven.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Just Amen!\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Wow, he told them he watched Satan falling like lightning out of heaven.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>19. Behold, I am giving <em>y<\/em>ou authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will by any means harm\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Amen!\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">20. Still, do not rejoice in this, that spirits are subject to <em>y<\/em>ou,\u00a0<strong>but rejoice that\u00a0<em>y<\/em>our names are written in heaven.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Amen!\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b621.\u00a0In that same\u00a0hour, Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, \u201cI thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the learned and intelligent, and revealed them to babes. Yes, Father! For such was pleasing in your sight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">22. And then he turned to the disciples and said, \u201cAll things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son, and he to whom the Son may choose to reveal <em>Him<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>That is us!\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">23. And then, turning to the disciples, he said privately, \u201cBlessed are the eyes that see the things <em>y<\/em>ou\u2019re seeing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">24. For I tell <em>y<\/em>ou, many prophets and kings wanted to see the things\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou\u2019re seeing, but didn\u2019t see them, and to hear the things\u00a0<em>y<\/em>ou\u2019re hearing, but didn\u2019t hear them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b625.\u00a0Then a certain expert in the law rose up, putting him to the test, and saying, \u201cTeacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">26. And he said to him, \u201cWhat is written in the law? How do you read it?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">27. And he answered and said, \u201cLove the Lordyour God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">28. And he said to him, \u201cYou have answered rightly. Do this, and you will live.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">29. But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, \u201cAnd who is my neighbor?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">30. Then Jesus took up on this and said, \u201cA certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, but he fell among thieves who, after they had both stripped and beaten him, went away, leaving him as he was, half dead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">31. Now, by chance, a certain priest was coming down that road and, when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">32. Likewise, a Levite also came to that place, and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">33. But a certain Samaritan on a journey came upon him, and he was moved with compassion when he saw him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">34. And going to him, he bound up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them. And putting him on his own beast, he took him to an inn and cared for him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">35. And as he was leaving the next morning, pulling out two denarii, he gave them to the innkeeper and said to him, \u2018Take care of him, and whatever else you might spend, I will repay you on my return.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">36.\u00a0 Now then, which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell among the thieves?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">37. And he said, \u201c<strong>The one who showed him mercy<\/strong>.\u201d Then Jesus said to him, \u201cYou go, and do the same.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b638.\u00a0And it came to pass, as they went on their way, that he entered into a certain village, and a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">39. She had a sister named Mary, who also sat at Jesus\u2019 feet, listening to his message,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">40. but Martha was distracted with much serving. Then she stopped and said, \u201cMaster, don\u2019t you care that my sister has left me alone to serve? Tell her that she should help me!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>41. But Jesus answered and said to her, \u201cMartha, Martha, you worry and get upset about many things,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>42. but one thing is necessary, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken from her.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Amen!
