Whew Pastor John!<\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t want to write\u00a0to\u00a0you every day,\u00a0but I can’t help it today.\u00a0\u00a0I am amazed.<\/span><\/p>\n

I can’t believe that Jesus\u00a0is\u00a0letting\u00a0me understand this!\u00a0\u00a0I remember reading the Bible for the first time and turning the pages, telling Jesus that I didn’t understand a word of it but\u00a0that\u00a0I was gonna keep going.\u00a0\u00a0And then,\u00a0one day Jesus let something go in,\u00a0and that was a game changer for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was reading scriptures\u00a0on “faith”\u00a0this morning from Roman’s 3 and 4.\u00a0\u00a0So,\u00a0I wanted to read more in Romans 4 because we\u00a0have been\u00a0reading about faith and works.\u00a0\u00a0When I started\u00a0the chapter, my thoughts were that I can see how\u00a0people get confused about the issue of\u00a0faith\u00a0and\u00a0works,\u00a0but\u00a0when I slowed down<\/u>\u00a0and read the whole\u00a0chapter,\u00a0I\u00a0was\u00a0amazed at the clarity.\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0then\u00a0wanted to confirm\u00a0that\u00a0Paul wrote Romans,\u00a0and\u00a0so, I\u00a0went to chapter 1,\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0became\u00a0mesmerized just\u00a0at\u00a0the clarity of the description of who Paul was.\u00a0\u00a0Wow!\u00a0\u00a0And then I had to keep reading.<\/span><\/p>\n

It really is a matter of the heart.\u00a0\u00a0The hearts of those believers in Rome\u00a0grabbed onto what they wanted,\u00a0and mine did,\u00a0too.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I thank Jesus that I love His truth!<\/span><\/p>\n

I feel the sweetest love for Abraham this morning.\u00a0\u00a0Abraham followed God before he received anything from Him.\u00a0\u00a0I see why he was God’s friend.\u00a0\u00a0And any heart following after God before the promise\u00a0of the Spirit\u00a0is given is like Abraham.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u00a0all\u00a0did that.\u00a0\u00a0We sought after God and kept coming before we\u00a0received\u00a0the\u00a0Spirit,\u00a0and God loved\u00a0seeing\u00a0us do that and\u00a0soon\u00a0sealed us with\u00a0it.\u00a0\u00a0That makes me very mushy\u00a0toward\u00a0the hearts\u00a0of those\u00a0who are now\u00a0wanting His\u00a0Spirtt.<\/span><\/p>\n

(By the way, mushy is best when two or more are gathered!)<\/span><\/p>\n

Who knew Romans 1 and 4 were so good!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
