Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

This morning, I was considering how the whole world is thanking God for the things it is accomplishing in\u00a0their\u00a0God’s name, no matter what it is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The disciples were thanking God for Jesus’s presence on earth, while many of Israel’s elders, scribes, Pharisees, and others were thanking God for Jesus’s execution!<\/span><\/p>\n

It is just how you said Preacher Clark described it:\u00a0“Everything you\u00a0believe\u00a0could be a lie…for all you know!”\u00a0\u00a0And it\u00a0may well be\u00a0a lie if Jesus hasn’t revealed it.\u00a0\u00a0And even then, it doesn’t have to be truth\u00a0because\u00a0he can send a delusion! (1Kings 22:21-23)<\/span><\/p>\n

It made me tremble this morning when I felt how I cannot know truth unless He reveals it to me.\u00a0\u00a0I cannot be free from lies unless He frees me.\u00a0\u00a0We are born into the lie that this world celebrates every day, namely,\u00a0life in sin is life at all.\u00a0\u00a0We have to be rescued or there is no getting out.<\/span><\/p>\n

No one, absolutely no one, figures out what is right – because nothing under the sun is\u00a0right.\u00a0\u00a0There is only Jesus and what of\u00a0him is being revealed to us by the Father right now.\u00a0\u00a0Whew!<\/span><\/p>\n

It is both fearful and wonderful.<\/span><\/p>\n
