{"id":15435,"date":"2025-02-27T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=15435"},"modified":"2025-03-03T20:04:31","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T01:04:31","slug":"jesus-is-an-optimist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/15435\/jesus-is-an-optimist\/","title":{"rendered":"Jesus is an Optimist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I want to tell a testimony about last night\u2019s meeting.\u00a0\u00a0The recent talks about believing have really hooked my heart.\u00a0 \u00a0That&#8217;s what it feels like, a big hook.\u00a0\u00a0I found myself talking to Jesus and saying, \u201cHow do I just believe Lord?\u00a0\u00a0I want to, but how do I just believe?&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I ended up telling Jesus that I can&#8217;t just make myself believe, and asking him to put that belief in me.\u00a0\u00a0I felt like that story in Mark 9:24: \u201cAnd immediately, the father of the child cried out with tears, \u201cSir, I believe!
