Good morning,<\/span><\/p>\n

I looked up the word promise<\/span> in the scriptures this morning. It touched me to read them, so I thought I would pass them on.\u00a0 At some point while reading them, it flowed almost like a book itself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Neh. 5:13 I shook out my lap and said, \u201cSo may God shake out every man from his house and his property who does not keep this\u00a0promise<\/span>. For thus shall he be shaken out and emptied.\u201d And the whole assembly said, \u201cAmen\u201d, and they praised the Lord. And the people did according to this\u00a0promise<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Psa. 77:8\u00a0Has His mercy forever ceased?\u00a0 Is the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0to all generations no more?<\/span><\/p>\n

Zec. 11:7\u00a0So I fed the flock that was headed for slaughter, the oppressed of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs; one I called \u2018Pleasantness\u2019, and one I called \u2018Promise<\/span>\u2019. Then I fed the flock.<\/span><\/p>\n

Luk. 24:49\u00a0and, behold, I am sending the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of my Father upon you. As for you, you stay in the city of Jerusalem until you be clothed with power from on high!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Act. 1:4\u00a0And being assembled together with them, he commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to await the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of the Father, \u201cwhich\u201d, he said, \u201cyou have heard about from me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Act. 2:33\u00a0Moreover, being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of the holy Spirit, he has shed forth this which you now see and hear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Act. 2:39\u00a0The\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Act. 13:23\u00a0Of the seed of this man, God, according to His\u00a0promise<\/span>, has brought salvation to Israel,<\/span><\/p>\n

Act. 13:32\u00a0And we are bringing you the good news concerning the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0made to the fathers, that God has fulfilled the same for us, their children, by resurrecting Jesus,<\/span><\/p>\n

Act. 26:6\u00a0And now I stand here, on trial because of the hope of the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0made by God to our fathers,<\/span><\/p>\n

Rom. 4:13\u00a0For the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0that he would be the heir of the world was not made to Abraham or to his seed through a law, but through the righteousness of faith.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rom. 4:14\u00a0For if they are heirs because of a law, then faith is rendered worthless and the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0is of no effect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rom. 4:16\u00a0Therefore, it is by faith, that it might be of grace, so that the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0might be secured to all the seed, not to that which is under the law only, but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all<\/span><\/p>\n

Rom. 4:20\u00a0He did not waver in unbelief at the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of God; on the contrary, strengthened by faith, he gave glory to God,<\/span><\/p>\n

Rom. 9:8\u00a0That is to say, the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God, but the children of the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0are counted as the seed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rom. 9:9\u00a0For this is the word of\u00a0promise<\/span>: \u201cAt the appointed time, I will come, and Sarah shall have a son.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 3:14\u00a0so that in Christ Jesus, the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, namely, that we might receive the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of the Spirit through faith.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 3:17\u00a0And this I say: a covenant concerning Christ having already been ratified by God, the law, coming four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate, so as to negate the\u00a0promise<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 3:18\u00a0If the inheritance is by law, it is no longer by\u00a0promise<\/span>; but God, by a\u00a0promise<\/span>, freely gave it to Abraham.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 3:19\u00a0Why, then, the law? It was added because of transgressions, until \u201cthe seed\u201d to whom the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0was made should come, it being ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 3:22\u00a0But Scripture imprisoned everything under sin so that the\u00a0promise<\/span>, by faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 3:29\u00a0And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham\u2019s seed, and heirs because of the\u00a0promise<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 4:23\u00a0However, the one by the servant-girl was begotten after the flesh, while the one by the free woman was begotten through\u00a0promise<\/span>,<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal. 4:28\u00a0Now we, brothers, are children of\u00a0promise<\/span>, as was Isaac.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eph. 1:13\u00a0in whom also, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation in which you also believed, you were sealed with the holy Spirit of\u00a0promise<\/span>,<\/span><\/p>\n

Eph. 2:12\u00a0you were at that time without Christ, being aliens to the state of Israel and strangers to the covenants of\u00a0promise<\/span>, having no hope, and without God in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eph. 3:6\u00a0the Gentiles are to be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers with the Jews of His\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0in Christ, through the gospel,<\/span><\/p>\n

Eph. 6:2\u00a0\u201cHonor your father and mother [which is the first commandment with a\u00a0promise<\/span>]<\/span><\/p>\n

1Ti. 4:8\u00a0for bodily exercise is beneficial for a few things, but godliness is beneficial for everything, holding\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0for this present life as well as for the life to come.<\/span><\/p>\n

2Ti. 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, in accord with the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of life that is in Christ Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 4:1 Therefore, while the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of entering into His rest still stands, let us fear, lest any of you be deemed to have come short of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 6:13 For when God made\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0to Abraham, since He had no one greater by whom to swear, He swore by Himself,<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 6:15\u00a0And thus, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the\u00a0promise<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 6:17\u00a0In the same way, God, willing to demonstrate even more clearly to the heirs of the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0the permanence of His decision, confirmed it with an oath,<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 9:15\u00a0And for this purpose, he is mediator of a new covenant, in order that, a death being accomplished for the redemption of transgressions that were under the first covenant, those who have been called might receive the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0of the eternal inheritance,<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 10:23\u00a0let us hold fast the confession of the hope without wavering, for He who made the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0is faithful,<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 10:36\u00a0You have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God, you might receive the\u00a0promise<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 11:9\u00a0By faith, he lived in the land of\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0as a stranger in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, joint-heirs of the same\u00a0promise<\/span>,<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 11:11\u00a0By faith also, Sarah herself, though past the age, received strength to conceive seed and gave birth, for she considered Him faithful who made the\u00a0promise<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heb. 11:39\u00a0And these all, given a good testimony because of their faith, did not receive the\u00a0promise<\/span>,<\/span><\/p>\n

2Pe. 3:4\u00a0and saying, \u201cWhere is the\u00a0promise\u00a0<\/span>of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they have from the beginning of creation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

2Pe. 3:9\u00a0The Lord of the\u00a0promise\u00a0<\/span>is not slow, as some think of slowness, but waits patiently for us, not wanting any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.<\/span><\/p>\n

2Pe. 3:13\u00a0But we, according to His\u00a0promise<\/span>, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.<\/span><\/p>\n

1Jo. 2:25\u00a0And this is the\u00a0promise<\/span>\u00a0that he himself promised<\/span> us: eternal life.<\/span><\/p>\n
