Hi Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I was reading the Random Thought this morning:\u00a0https:\/\/goingtojesus.com\/gtj_thoughts.html?tname=rdt03-0<\/a><\/span><\/span>As<\/p>\n

As Much As You Will Ever Have<\/span><\/p>\n

From a sermon by Preacher Clark in 1969<\/span><\/p>\n

You either belong to God or you do not.\u00a0 If you do, then you belong to God as much as Paul did, or Peter, or even Jesus.\u00a0 The Lord Jesus suffered and died to become \u201cthe firstborn among many brethren\u201d, and in him, we become heirs of God together with him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preacher Clark said, \u201cYou have as much of God inside of you now as you are ever going to have.\u201d\u00a0 Think about that.\u00a0 God dwells within us by His Spirit, and you either have Him there or you don\u2019t.\u00a0 Nobody has only a fraction of God within them.\u00a0 If you have God\u2019s Spirit within you, then even after you are raised from the dead, what you have within you right now is what you will have within you then.\u00a0 Jesus told his disciples that when the Spirit came, both he and the Father would make their abode within them.\u00a0 Preacher Clark\u2019s point that day long ago was that God comes to us completely or not at all.\u00a0 We either have Him or we don\u2019t.\u00a0 And if it is God who dwells within us, then it is enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

This was so good to get still and really think about this. When God comes into us, He comes to us completely, and if He dwells in us, then it is enough.\u00a0 Just thinking about the Spirit of God dwelling inside of us is exciting, but then I started thinking what that means.\u00a0 That means we have everything!\u00a0 We are lacking NOTHING!\u00a0 We have a friend when we’re lonely, a great physician\u00a0when we are sick and feeble, a lifter of our heads when we are sad and need encouragement, and a protector when we’re in trouble.\u00a0 He is our hope, our happy, our joy, the love of our life!\u00a0 We are heirs to our King with hope of eternal life with Him…forever!\u00a0 We are His!<\/span><\/p>\n

What a way to start the day!<\/span><\/p>\n
