Hi Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

Last\u00a0night, I re-watched the Sunday meeting and read over our copy of Chapter 5 of the Iron Kingdom book again.\u00a0 Two things really stuck out to me.<\/span><\/p>\n

1)\u00a0 You said, “The apostates redefined the new birth from the baptism of the holy Ghost to believing in Jesus” (https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.blogspot.com\/<\/a><\/span>).\u00a0 When you said that, my heart and my head were saying yes, but when I got still last night I believe that went in deeper.\u00a0 I had the thought, “That sounds just like Satan!\u00a0 That is what he does, he offers people an alternative, using the name of Jesus”.\u00a0 That thought brought a holy anger with it.<\/span><\/p>\n

2)\u00a0 After we read Colossian 2:14 and Billy testified about the “He” in that verse being the Father, I slowed down and reread those scriptures again.\u00a0 The feeling I got reminded me of my feelings after doing the Old Testament class (https:\/\/www.goingtojesus.com\/gtj_otcourse-1010.html<\/a><\/span>).\u00a0 One of the biggest things that changed in my heart was my feelings about God.\u00a0 I learned that He is merciful, kind, long-suffering and very loving.\u00a0 These are the feelings I was having reading last night.\u00a0 The relationship between the Father and Son became so much sweeter in my heart.\u00a0 God created the law to teach His people who He was.\u00a0 He prepared a way for his Son to come to take the place of the law.\u00a0 His Son agreed to come and die for us.\u00a0 Then the Son ascended to his Father and asked his Father for us.\u00a0 The Father said yes!\u00a0 It was love, back and forth.\u00a0 They were together in everything, and everything they did was for us.\u00a0 It put a better understanding of how Jesus\u00a0wants us to feel about each other\u00a0and how he wants us to live with each other.\u00a0 Being one, being together.\u00a0 I fell asleep last night feeling the overwhelming sweetness of the Father and Son.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m so thankful for what we have been taught.\u00a0 It gets better and better!<\/span><\/p>\n
