Good morning John,<\/span><\/p>\n

Ben and I read the first half of the edited section in your Iron Kingdom book on “Paul\u2019s Gospel” last night, and it was really good.\u00a0 I love everything you added.\u00a0 The Shakespearean opening was perfect!\u00a0 You got Billy H\u2019s wonderful new thought in there about God giving the law and God taking it away.\u00a0 One of my favorite lines from Sunday was still there about Moses\u2019 law being robbed of its glory by the surpassing glory of the Son of God who was exalted above the heavens themselves.\u00a0 I especially love that verse you included from Galatians 5:5 when Paul says, \u201cFor we await the hope of righteousness by faith in the SPIRIT!\u201c (Not by faith in ceremonies).\u00a0 I remember that was the verse that triggered my testimony the night we were putting the Montanaus book (<\/span>Going to Jesus.com – Montanus: Prophet to an Apostate Body of Christ<\/a><\/span>) mailing together.<\/span><\/p>\n

I love that all of Paul\u2019s faith was in the Spirit alone!\u00a0 I stopped reading last night and told Ben, \u201cTHAT\u2019S the basket where you want to put all your eggs.\u00a0 That is, the Spirit of God basket!\u201d Putting your eggs anywhere else dishonors the sacrifice of Christ!!\u00a0 I saw my own relatives who have walked away and are now worshipping in ceremonies without any regard for the Spirit of God that He so mercifully gave them, when I read from Paul, \u201cYou are estranged from Christ\u2026you have fallen from grace\u201d (Gal 5:4).<\/span><\/p>\n

And I love that you included that amazing prophecy from Jeremiah about God making a new covenant with us.\u00a0 The prophecy that God would write His law on our hearts and He would be our God and we would be his people is now our reality!\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 I love having his law written on my heart and being one of His people!!\u00a0 To be one of His people is everything!<\/span><\/p>\n

After we finished reading, I wanted to find something I transcribed several years ago from Sis Edna testifying in a meeting in her farmhouse about her love of the doctrine!\u00a0 It\u2019s so good!\u00a0 Here it is:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere used to be a scripture;\u00a0they\u2019d teach me\u00a0it was\u00a0[talking about]\u00a0tobacco, and it said, \u201cTaste not, handle not, with the using all are to perish.”\u00a0 That\u2019s\u00a0[talking about]\u00a0the doctrine and commandments of men.\u00a0 Well,\u00a0I\u2019m glad I found God\u2019s doctrine!\u00a0 D-O-C-T-R-I-N-E.\u00a0 Not doctors.\u00a0 I thank the Lord for the doctrine of God,\u00a0and because I love it, and I don\u2019t care who knows it.\u00a0 And I want you to know that I been a-standing for it for 50 years!\u00a0 The doctrine of Christ is gonna live on!\u00a0 It never dies!\u00a0 This is something that doesn\u2019t die.\u00a0 The doctrine is just as fresh today as the day when I got it!\u00a0 It ain\u2019t gone dead, and it never will die!\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 I\u2019m so glad of it,\u00a0I don\u2019t know what to do!\u00a0 This thing is living now!\u00a0 I\u2019m so glad of it!\u00a0 My Father is rich! They\u2019re fussin over their inheritance down here, well I\u2019ll tell you one thing!\u00a0 My father is rich!\u00a0 It\u2019s all in his hands.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sis Edna testified this in a meeting at least fifty years ago, and I still feel it today because the doctrine she loved so much is still just as fresh today as it was when she said it!\u00a0 The reason I love this section\u00a0in the Iron Kingdom book\u00a0on “Paul\u2019s Gospel” so much is because it\u2019s not some boring history about Paul.\u00a0 \u00a0It\u2019s alive!\u00a0 I told Ben I know exactly why Jesus put Sister\u00a0Edna and me together in a dream.\u00a0 We have the same testimony, and that one paragraph about her love for the doctrine is part of our testimony!!\u00a0 I felt my spirit stirring while reading her testimony out loud to Ben the same way I felt it stirring while reading this section on Paul\u2019s Gospel!\u00a0 I love it!\u00a0 Thank you for writing it!<\/span><\/p>\n
