{"id":15631,"date":"2025-04-30T18:53:17","date_gmt":"2025-04-30T23:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=15631"},"modified":"2025-04-30T18:55:36","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T23:55:36","slug":"remembers-from-the-iron-kingdom-book","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/15631\/remembers-from-the-iron-kingdom-book\/","title":{"rendered":"Remembers from The Iron Kingdom book"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Amen!\u00a0\u00a0When I read the \u201cRemembers\u201d* from chapters 1&amp;2 of the Iron Kingdom book you are working on, I wanted every heart God has out there to know this.\u00a0\u00a0It does something inside of me for them when I read it!\u00a0\u00a0Here are some of them:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> When the new birth is redefined, everything is redefined.<br \/>\n\u2022 Believing is where the journey with Jesus begins.<br \/>\n\u2022 It is possible to believe in Jesus and not yet have the Spirit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Everyone who believes in Jesus should be told that believing is not the experience of new birth; it is the path we must take to receive it!<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> One of the craftiest ways the wicked have found to destroy the foundations of the Faith is to\u00a0redefine them.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Truth redefined becomes a lie in disguise.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Even if we speak the same language, if we have different definitions for the same word, we\u00a0might as well be speaking different languages.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">That is so good, Pastor John!\u00a0\u00a0That is exactly what has happened, and we now are divided by that different language.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> The body of Christ was created by the power of God in the second chapter of Acts.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">AMEN!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In turning to elements of the world, believers had to \u201cmind earthly things\u201d in order to please the men who led them to do it<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> By the time of the Synthesis, the believers who \u201cminded earthly things\u201d were so dull of heart\u00a0that they rejoiced in it as the fulfillment of God\u2019s ancient promises.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And it will do the same thing to us if we take our minds off of Christ and get it on the things of this world.\u00a0\u00a0I know that is true because I have felt it.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Christians absorbed Rome as much as Rome absorbed Christians; the Synthesis was both a\u00a0conquest and a victory<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The world cannot receive the Spirit; therefore, the world requires a religion it can practice\u00a0without it.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> With every new doctrine or ceremony, however, early Christians were introducing another\u00a0Jesus, another spirit, and another gospel.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Whew! That is what my heart says when I read this.\u00a0\u00a0I just wanted to tell you what reading this as a child of God feels like.\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0<em>feel<\/em>\u00a0the words that God has given you.\u00a0\u00a0And it puts a pull in my heart for other hearts out there to hear them and feel them.
