Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I want to thank Leann\u00a0for taking the time to transcribe the Malachi study.\u00a0 I had a wonderful time reading it this morning.\u00a0\u00a0Here are my\u00a0highlights from\u00a0this mornings reading:<\/span><\/p>\n

The strength that\u2019s required<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>to preach the gospel is\u00a0greater\u00a0<\/strong>than the strength required to heal the sick!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

If you ever hear a man of God declaring the council of God under this New Testament,\u00a0<\/em>you\u2019re witnessing a man doing something that man cannot do \u2013 if it’s the real gospel \u2013\u00a0<\/em>because the flesh is afraid of it. The nature of man can\u2019t bear it!\u00a0\u00a0If any men could have\u00a0<\/em>born it, it would have been Jesus\u2019 disciples, who had already performed miracles\u00a0<\/em>themselves and been with him three years or more.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

If there were any human beings that<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>were going to be able to bear things from God without having the holy Ghost, they would<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>have.\u00a0\u00a0They couldn\u2019t.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Because this is a new covenant, it requires a new spirit inside you<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>to bear it.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s so foreign to the flesh.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s so in opposition to the flesh.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s so unsavory<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>to your human nature that you have to be delivered from your nature to even want it!\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s this new covenant!\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s what the Son of God came to do.\u00a0\u00a0To give you a nature<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>where he could tell you things that the flesh cannot receive!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The flesh opposes this<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>covenant because life in this covenant is not of the flesh. It leaves man out of it!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

My father used to say often, \u201cEverything Jesus commanded his disciples to do, they\u00a0<\/em>couldn\u2019t do\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0You name it.\u00a0\u00a0What did he tell them to do?\u00a0\u00a0\u201cGo heal the sick.\u201d They\u00a0couldn\u2019t do it.\u00a0\u00a0He had to anoint them with power and send them out, saying in effect,<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>\u201cCarry this with you and you can do it.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the difference between Paul taking a<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>handkerchief and sending it to heal somebody and Jesus using a human being and doing<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>it?\u00a0 Anything carrying the anointing of God can do it!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus could have anointed a rock<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>and thrown it at somebody and healed him!\u00a0\u00a0That doesn\u2019t make that rock alive!\u00a0\u00a0That rock<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>can\u2019t hear the hidden wisdom of God and live in the Spirit.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>But there\u2019s even more to it than that.\u00a0\u00a0You haven\u2019t thought about this yet.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It is as<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>impossible to hear and receive and love the word of God in this New Testament as it is to<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>preach it. You have to be made a different creature to hear it. To take it in.\u00a0You have to<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>be anointed to hear the word of God\u00a0 This isn\u2019t\u00a0human\u00a0life we are experiencing here!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Thank God He made us \u201cdifferent creatures\u201d, John, so we can take this in and hear it.\u00a0 I was encouraged and made thankful by reading this.\u00a0\u00a0I appreciate LeeAnn taking the time to transcribe it!<\/span><\/p>\n
