Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

Wow!\u00a0\u00a0I’m reading John 6 this morning, and I am overwhelmed by the fact that Jesus has written what is on those pages\u00a0onto our hearts.\u00a0\u00a0Look at what we understand!\u00a0 It’s not hard for us to hear.\u00a0 It is wonderful!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reading\u00a0John 6:38\u201340 made my spirit leap!\u00a0\u00a0God is on our side. It is His will that nothing He has given to Jesus be lost, but that Jesus will raise them up on the last day.\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s us!\u00a0\u00a0God gave us to Jesus, fully knowing His will\u00a0\u2013\u00a0and I love that so much.\u00a0\u00a0Sometimes it just feels too wonderful not to share!<\/span><\/p>\n

38.For I have come down from heaven not to do my will, but the will of\u00a0 Him who sent me.<\/span><\/p>\n

39.And this is the will of the Father who sent me,\u00a0that I should lose nothing\u00a0of all that He has given to me, but that I should raise it up in the last day.<\/span><\/p>\n

40.And this is the will of Him who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

53. Therefore, Jesus said to them, \u201cTruly, truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.<\/span><\/p>\n

54.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I\u2019ll raise him up on the last day.<\/span><\/p>\n

55.For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.<\/span><\/p>\n

56.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.<\/span><\/p>\n

57.Just as the living Father sent me, and I live by the Father, so also, he who eats me shall live by me.<\/span><\/p>\n

58.This is the bread who came down from heaven \u2013 not the way\u00a0your fathers ate manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

59. These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.<\/span><\/p>\n

60. Then, when many of his disciples heard this, they said, \u201cThis is a hard saying; who can hear it?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

61. But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, \u201cDoes this offend you?<\/span><\/p>\n

62. Then, what if you see the Son of man ascending to where he was before?<\/span><\/p>\n

63. It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The things that I am telling you, they are spirit, and they are life!<\/span><\/p>\n
