{"id":15863,"date":"2025-07-22T12:52:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T17:52:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=15863"},"modified":"2025-07-23T13:06:54","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T18:06:54","slug":"john-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/15863\/john-18\/","title":{"rendered":"John 18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Good morning Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am up reading John 18 this morning, and it hurts my heart.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Judas went to a place where Jesus had gathered many times before with His disciples.\u00a0\u00a0I wonder what intimate conversations had taken place in that garden.\u00a0\u00a0I wonder if the place held something special for Jesus.\u00a0\u00a0It was where He chose to go and speak to his Father in his final hours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And Judas came with weapons.\u00a0\u00a0I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever paused long enough to absorb the gravity of that\u00a0\u2013\u00a0he brought weapons!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It hurts my heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">John 18:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1. After Jesus said these things, he went out with his disciples across the Brook Kidron, where there was a garden into which he and his disciples entered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2. Now, Judas, the one who betrayed him, also knew the place because Jesus had often gathered there with his disciples.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3.
