{"id":15887,"date":"2025-08-01T11:12:26","date_gmt":"2025-08-01T16:12:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=15887"},"modified":"2025-08-02T11:15:40","modified_gmt":"2025-08-02T16:15:40","slug":"summation-of-morning-reading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/15887\/summation-of-morning-reading\/","title":{"rendered":"Summation of morning reading*"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Is this right, based on what we read today in the Father and Son book?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">God was showing us how to have right relationships by humbly sharing His power, love, and kind of life with Jesus because\u00a0of His desire for fellowship.\u00a0\u00a0From the beginning, He desired to bring us close to Him,\u00a0and that was the entire point of Jesus&#8217; testimony, from beginning to end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Like was mentioned today, fellowship comes from action and not just believing in the Spirit or in God.\u00a0\u00a0Knowing God requires obedience by operating in His Spirit.\u00a0\u00a0It&#8217;s actively obeying God and being the light of the world by doing works, like putting the truth in motion.\u00a0\u00a0When we have obeyed God, we have fellowship with God and Jesus.\u00a0\u00a0And, when we obey God, it is always related to building relationships the way He intends.\u00a0\u00a0That is the only way we can have fellowship with each other.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">That&#8217;s why reading together feels so wonderful.\u00a0\u00a0It&#8217;s more than words;\u00a0it&#8217;s like living out those words through obeying the Spirit that brings fellowship,\u00a0and that is giving us knowledge together through the feelings of that fellowship with us\/God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wendy S.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Hi Wendy.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Yes, that is a good assessment of what we read from chapter 9 this morning.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Isn&#8217;t it wonderful!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*<\/span> <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Chapter-9-Being-the-Light.pdf\">Chapter 9 Being the Light<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pastor John, Is this right, based on what we read today in the Father and Son book?
