{"id":16028,"date":"2026-01-18T11:38:35","date_gmt":"2026-01-18T16:38:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=16028"},"modified":"2026-01-19T11:42:37","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T16:42:37","slug":"the-israelis-time-in-egypt-as-slaves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/16028\/the-israelis-time-in-egypt-as-slaves\/","title":{"rendered":"The Israelis time in Egypt as slaves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hello Pastor John!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I hope you&#8217;ve had a productive week full of blessings!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have been listening to &#8220;The Kings&#8221; study on line.\u00a0(<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.goingtojesus.com\/ot_3.html\">Old Testament Course Materials &#8211; John Clark, Sr.<\/a><\/span> ) As I was listening to the quizzing before the class the thought hit me.\u00a0 Yes the Israelis were made rich when they left, but they left with much more.\u00a0 When they arrived in Egypt they were herders.\u00a0 When they left they were masons, wood workers, metal wrights, doctors.\u00a0 They learned the Egyptian&#8217;s skills and knowledge in those 430 years.\u00a0 So they were able to build, make fine linens, brass and gold articles for the tabernacle and the temple.\u00a0 They, even to this day, make and build many things that are remarkable. A blessing for the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I love having thoughts I have never had before.\u00a0 Especially when listening to, or reading something, or just thinking about things of God which I thought I knew.\u00a0 No matter what I read anymore I try to read it with wonder of what will I be taught today.\u00a0 Give me a fuller understanding of the things of God is always what I try to keep in my heart.\u00a0 Especially when reading something I think I know.\u00a0 It&#8217;s easy to be open when reading something new, but reading, or watching something 10 or 20 times it&#8217;s not as easy.\u00a0 I am grateful to God for giving me this heart.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Miss you all,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mark W.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Thank you, Mark.
