{"id":16069,"date":"2026-03-05T19:56:21","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T00:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=16069"},"modified":"2026-03-05T19:56:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T00:56:21","slug":"job-and-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/16069\/job-and-god\/","title":{"rendered":"Job and God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dear Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In our reading of Job yesterday, thoughts of two scriptures came to my mind:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Luke 12:48 &#8220;&#8230;From everyone to whom much is given, much will be required&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 Corinthians 10:13b &#8220;God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tried beyond what you can bear, but He will also with the trial make a way of escape, so that you will be able to endure it.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The New Testament gives us such relief! The Spirit of God shows us that our suffering is commensurate with our faith and that it has a way out.
