\u00a0What a great and instructional answer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gary<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am reading in Deuteronomy 33:2.\u00a0 Can you help me understand &#8220;he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.&#8221;\u00a0 What does this scripture mean?\u00a0 It\u2019s confusing me because it makes me think of when the law was given to Moses, but when it talks about ten thousands of his saints it\u2019s like the end time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sandra<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Thank you for the question, Sandra.\u00a0 You are right with both those thoughts.\u00a0 Here is our translation of\u00a0Deuteronomy 33:1\u20133:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>This is the blessing with which Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death<\/li>\n<li>when he said, \u201cJehovah came from Sinai and appeared to them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran.\u00a0\u00a0From His right hand came the Holy One with myriads; fire was his mandate.<\/li>\n<li>Yea, O beloved One of nations, in your hands are all His saints, and they follow in your steps, each one raised up through your words.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Many times in the Old Testament, God&#8217;s prophets were\u00a0moved to speak of an event in Israel&#8217;s history which was a figure\u00a0of something which the Son of God, hidden during Old Testament time, would do in the future.\u00a0 This is one of those prophecies with a dual meaning.\u00a0 First, Moses led Israel from Mount Sinai toward Canaan&#8217;s land, coming up from the south (Seir).\u00a0 But the Spirit was also speaking through Moses of the future, for at some point after Jesus returns in power to reign a thousand years, with myriads of God&#8217;s saints with him (Rev. 19), he will destroy the Beast and the armies of the earth with flaming fire.\u00a0 At some point during all that, Jesus and his army of saints will\u00a0go south from Israel to do something (we are not told what), and then he will return to Israel from that direction.\u00a0 Those verses from\u00a0Deuteronomy are a reference to his coming from the south.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Here is an excerpt from my book, Revelation: (<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/goingtojesus.com\/gtj_books.html?tname=revelation\">Going to Jesus.com &#8211; Revelation<\/a><\/span>)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>From the South<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">At some point in this brief battle, for reasons unknown to us, Jesus will go toward the south, but then return (Zech. 9:14).\u00a0\u00a0His return northward is mentioned a few times by the prophets: \u201cGod came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran.\u00a0\u00a0His majesty covered the heavens, and his praise filled the earth, and\u00a0<em>his<\/em>\u00a0brightness was like the dawn.\u00a0\u00a0Before him went a plague, and a flame went before his feet.\u00a0\u00a0He stood still and shook the earth; he looked and dispersed the nations\u201d (Hab. 3:3\u20134a, 5\u20136a).\u00a0\u00a0And in the book of Deuteronomy, we find this prophecy from Moses: \u201cThe Lord came from Sinai, and appeared to them from Seir.\u00a0\u00a0He shone forth from Mount Paran.\u00a0\u00a0From His right hand came the Holy One with myriads; fire was his mandate\u201d (Dt. 33:2).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Father will then playfully give Jesus an opportunity to boast of his triumph by asking His Son, \u201cWho is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah in red-stained garments, this man glorious in his apparel, marching in his mighty strength?\u201d (Isa. 63:1a).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To which Jesus will gleefully respond, \u201cIt is I, who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save!\u201d (Isa. 63:1b).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Father, again: \u201cHow is it that there is red on your apparel, like a treader in a winepress?\u201d (Isa. 63:2).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jesus: \u201cI have trodden the winepress.\u00a0\u00a0I trod them down\u00a0in my anger and trampled them in my rage; their lifeblood spattered on my garments, and all my raiment\u00a0was sullied. For the day of vengeance\u00a0was in my heart, and\u00a0the year of my\u00a0redeemed ones had come.\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0trampled down the nations\u00a0in my anger; I made them drunk with my rage, and I brought down their lifeblood to the earth\u201d (Isa. 63:3a, 4, 6).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Then the Father and the Son will probably laugh together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Deuteronomy 33:3 speaks\u00a0of\u00a0God&#8217;s people following Moses toward\u00a0Canaan&#8217;s land.\u00a0 They were the ones God had raised up from slavery.\u00a0 But it is at the same time a prophecy of the\u00a0saints who will be following Jesus after the resurrection; they are those whom God will have raised from the dead.\u00a0 The book of Jude mentions this:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jude 1<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"14\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these men, saying, \u201cBehold!\u00a0\u00a0The Lord is coming with ten thousands of his saints<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to execute judgment upon all, and to punish all the ungodly for all their ungodly deeds that they have performed in ungodliness, and for all the harsh things that the ungodly sinners have spoken against him.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>I hope that clears things up a little.\u00a0 Deuteronomy 33:1\u20133 is just one of those prophetic scriptures with two very real meanings.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Love it! \u00a0What a great and instructional answer.
