Good evening, John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I have loved reading these letters from Paul in the mornings!\u00a0 In them, we are learning more about who we are!\u00a0 Who Jesus created us to be!\u00a0 Ephesians was packed with so much richness this morning, and there was not one wasted word in the whole letter!\u00a0 I could feel Paul exhorting us to move into a place with Jesus where we could experience the “breadth and length and depth and height” of His love.\u00a0\u00a0I told Ben yesterday that Jesus has blessings he wants to give us, but we have to at least make ourselves available to receive them!\u00a0 If we are running here and there, constantly consumed with the cares of this life, then we are going to miss out on something precious that Jesus has waiting for us, and I have told Jesus that I don\u2019t want to leave anything He has for me on the table!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I loved Tom\u2019s song from yesterday, \u201cI Want My Lord to Be Satisfied With Me\u201d.\u00a0 That last verse has been my prayer:<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord give me strength, give me courage, make me bold,<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0that I may lead some lost sheep into the fold,<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0that I might stand unafraid\u00a0and\u00a0work\u00a0for thee,<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0that you might be fully satisfied with me.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Jesus has been teaching me through Paul\u2019s writings that the boldness I am seeking is not something that He will sprinkle on me like fairy dust.\u00a0 I am learning that the key to having the kind of boldness that I desire is to simply fall in love with the Truth so much that the Truth becomes who I am.\u00a0 As Damien says,\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s in the man.\u201d\u00a0 So then, whatever I say or do is just right!\u00a0 The boldness is in there.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t have to be loud.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t even need a voice.\u00a0 It\u2019s just who I am!\u00a0 Just be who Jesus has created me to be,\u00a0and that\u2019s all the boldness I will ever need!\u00a0 I believe it\u2019s all part of growing in God.\u00a0 Growing into that new creature He created me to be.\u00a0 I love it.\u00a0 If we stay available, God will teach us and we will continue to grow!\u00a0 Thank you, Jesus!<\/span><\/p>\n
