{"id":16218,"date":"2026-07-12T08:45:53","date_gmt":"2026-07-12T13:45:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=16218"},"modified":"2026-07-13T08:47:04","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T13:47:04","slug":"testimony-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/16218\/testimony-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Testimony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hi Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I wanted to reach out and share an experience I had with Jesus earlier this week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tuesday after my first PT session,\u00a0Margo brought me home, and I started doing my homework aka stretches.\u00a0\u00a0While doing my stretches,\u00a0our YouTube was playing a mix of music, US getting the Holy Ghost, sermons, so on and so forth.\u00a0\u00a0Soon after finishing my stretches lying\u00a0down, I stayed lying there. One of Aunt Donna\u2019s songs came on \u201cIt\u2019s\u00a0Just\u00a0Like\u00a0You\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0And I just got real still and let her song take over.\u00a0\u00a0Jesus spoke to me and told me to slow down and rest.\u00a0\u00a0Just slow down and rest.\u00a0\u00a0I knew at that moment life had been fast-pace and\u00a0constantly busy with something.\u00a0\u00a0I knew then and there my injury wasn\u2019t just by accident.\u00a0\u00a0It was Jesus showing me\u00a0that\u00a0slowing down needs to happen more often.\u00a0\u00a0In order for me to connect with Him, I need to slow down and rest.\u00a0\u00a0Yes,\u00a0life happens,\u00a0and you can start moving faster than normal.\u00a0\u00a0But are you going to slow down and hear Me talking to\u00a0<em>you.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>That\u2019s what I felt, and in that moment,\u00a0I knew He meant it in all things as well.\u00a0\u00a0Not just a back injury.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Goodbye for now,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Alex\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Pastor John, I wanted to reach out and share an experience I had with Jesus earlier this week.
