Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u00a0loved the sermon\u00a0from 1981\u00a0Amy sent out yesterday.\u00a0 There’s so many good things I had to listen a couple of times and this evening I read the transcript Amy sent out.<\/span><\/p>\n

After I listened the first time, I prayed, “Oh Lord, search my heart.\u00a0 I want to get rid of rocks, thorns and any cares of this life that’s still there”.\u00a0 Fill my heart with the love of God!”\u00a0 I had the thought, Jesus when you filled me with the holy Ghost I became yours, heart, soul, mind and body.\u00a0 You’re in there!\u00a0 Then I read this in the transcript:\u00a0 “And do not make God’s Holy Spirit sad, for the Spirit\u00a0is God’s mark of ownership on you– a guarantee that the day will come when God will set you free.\u00a0 Get rid of all bitterness, passion and anger.\u00a0 No more shouting or insults.\u00a0 No more hateful feelings of any kind.\u00a0 Instead, be kind and tenderhearted\u00a0one to another and forgive one another as God has forgiven you through Christ. Amen.\u00a0 No more harmful\u00a0words.”\u00a0 Whew… that’s the love of God in action!<\/span><\/p>\n

You said, “Let the good thing that God has placed in you bear good fruit! This was so encouraging to me.\u00a0 There is so much more, but I loved the feelings, serious but so encouraging.<\/span><\/p>\n

“If we’re going to understand the truth that’s on the way, we’ve got to prepare for it before it comes\u00a0– you said, “I’m sure God has more for us to see.\u00a0 Now’s the time to get ready to hear it.\u00a0 Now’s the time. We can’t wait.”<\/span><\/p>\n

I want my heart to stay prepared, ready and free.<\/span><\/p>\n

I love the truth you have taught us.\u00a0 Every bit all along the way.\u00a0 It stirs my heart and makes me feel encouraged and excited.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And… I loved hearing you at 29 yrs old!\u00a0 The anointing, zeal and love of God is still there!\u00a0 This should encourage every young person who hears it! It sure did encourage me!\u00a0 You’ve held onto the truth a long time… that is no small thing.\u00a0 I’m so thankful Jesus put me here with you!<\/span><\/p>\n
