You know what your message on Sunday does, PJ? \u2014 It knocks the dust of Christianity right off my heart.\u00a0 So many times my flesh has wanted you to be my hero, to be like those Christian ministers who say what the flesh wants to hear.\u00a0 But this\u2026 this makes my soul shout.\u00a0 This feeds my soul.\u00a0 I love this so much I can hardly stand it.\u00a0 I can\u2019t tell you how many times Jesus has given it to me straight.\u00a0 He has stopped me in my tracks many times by saying it exactly like it is.\u00a0 Jesus does not sugarcoat things with me.\u00a0 This sounds and feels just like Jesus to me.\u00a0 And I love it.\u00a0 I need it this straight and this real.<\/span><\/p>\n

Talk about\u00a0“straight is the way”!\u00a0\u00a0You said,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“There is something about the truth Jesus gives that so satisfies the soul that you cannot want\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

something else.\u00a0\u00a0You can desire more of that heavenly manna and more of that refreshing\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

spiritual water, but no other bread or water can appeal to you.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cI am the bread of life,\u201d Jesus\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

said, \u201cand he who comes to me will never hunger, and he who believes in me will never thirst\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(Jn. 6:35).\u00a0\u00a0There have been people who attended our meetings for decades, even born to parents\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

who were already here, who never found the way of holiness.\u00a0\u00a0They knew when to clap their\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

hands and when to smile, but they never got to know the Spirit.\u00a0\u00a0In time, they were offended, not because I did anything, but because they were thirsty for something else, and God made sure that\u00a0they found something better to their liking.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t take credit for them being here, and I didn\u2019t take credit for them leaving.\u00a0\u00a0That is\u00a0God\u2019s business.\u00a0\u00a0I am not that powerful.\u00a0\u00a0No man is.\u00a0\u00a0It is not part of my job\u00a0description to decide who or how many come or go; my job is to be faithful to the one who\u00a0called me out of darkness and gave me hope of eternal life.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0My goal is not to try to persuade anybody to stay here and not go away; that is not by job.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0My job is to please my Master and teach you the way of righteousness, to feed you the living\u00a0word of God, to offer you the bread of life that comes down from heaven, to give you a taste of\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

the Son of God, and hopefully, to cause you to \u201ctaste and see that the Lord is good.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0It is\u00a0actually none of my business whether or not that heavenly bread tastes good to you.\u00a0\u00a0The result\u00a0of my feeding the body is entirely up to God.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
