{"id":16289,"date":"2026-09-18T10:53:05","date_gmt":"2026-09-18T15:53:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=16289"},"modified":"2026-09-18T10:53:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T15:53:05","slug":"overwhelmed-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/16289\/overwhelmed-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Overwhelmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hey Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I\u2019m sad because I\u2019m coming to the end of the Father and Son book.*\u00a0 (But excited to read it again!) \u00a0It\u2019s been wonderful reading it and just letting the love between the Father and Son, and the love they have for us, sink in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is one of those paragraphs that fill my heart with love, gratitude and thankfulness for what Jesus has done:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;When &#8216;the love of God is poured out within our heart, by the Holy Spirit&#8217; (Rom. 5:5b), it draws us out of our hiding places to live again in childlike sincerity. \u00a0The spirit of God re-creates us as children of a Father who will not fail us, as siblings of a big brother who will always be with us and watch over us, and as members of a family whose influence is the opposite of that of the world. \u00a0For when we as the family of God walk together in our Father\u2019s love, we encourage one another to live without fear of ridicule, or betrayal.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Whew\u2026what a sweet, wonderful life the Father and Son has given to us!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Love,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Michelle\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>* <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/goingtojesus.com\/gtj_books.html?tname=fands\">Going to Jesus.com &#8211; God Had A Son Before Mary Did<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey Pastor John, I\u2019m sad because I\u2019m coming to the end of the Father and Son book.*\u00a0 (But excited to read it again!) \u00a0It\u2019s been wonderful reading it and just letting the love between the Father and Son, and the love they have for us, sink in.
