I’ve listened to this sermon several times, and it is so valuable that I wanted to have it written out.\u00a0 Probably has some typos, but the message is wonderful!<\/span><\/p>\n

So in 1981 when the Lord spoke to me about Him being in charge of all things for us, he\u00a0perfected some good ideas in me that weren\u2019t perfect.\u00a0 One was that He\u00a0wouldn\u2019t ever let me say that He allowed this or He allowed that to happen.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t say that anymore.\u00a0 It would come into my mind, the way it had done many times before, but the Spirit would stop it.\u00a0 God was saying to me, \u201cI\u2019m more in charge than that.\u00a0 I design what happens to you.\u201d\u00a0 Our heavenly Father does not just stand back and allow things to happen to us.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Sue, that was a beautiful testimony,\u00a0 but let me perfect part of it, the way the Lord perfected my thinking.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

You said, \u201cWhen you\u2019re going through something, God will give you the faith to overcome it.\u201d\u00a0 But the truth is, when you\u2019re going through something, God has already given you the faith to overcome it.\u00a0 That\u2019s why it has come, because He\u2019s already given you the faith to overcome it.\u00a0 That small, perfecting tweak is the difference the Voice made when it came to me.\u00a0 Instead of God as a reactor to everything that happens to us, He\u2019s the designer of everything.\u00a0 You already have what you need to go through what you\u2019re going through this coming week.\u00a0 It\u2019s already there.\u00a0 Praise God.\u00a0 And when you go through something, it\u2019s just to build up your faith and make it stronger.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t that right, Sue?\u00a0 He\u2019s a perfect Father.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Who was it in the Bible that said,\u00a0 \u201cTry the spirits?\u201d\u00a0 Who said that?\u00a0 John said it in first John, in his first letter.\u00a0 \u201cTry the spirits\u201d, means to judge them to see if they\u2019re of God.\u00a0 But how are you going to do that?\u00a0 Early on, when I was young in\u00a0the Lord, I realized as I talked with different people who did not receive the truth that somehow, somebody had put on their hearts, like a little plaque or something, \u201cJudge\u00a0 by This.\u201d\u00a0 It was a doctrine of the Trinity.\u00a0 And they judged people by that false standard.\u00a0 To them, if you didn\u2019t believe in the Trinity, you were a cult.\u00a0 And that would be the end of the conversation. \u00a0 I realized I couldn\u2019t get through to them because they were judging the things I said by the standard they had been persuaded to engrave on their hearts.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The value of the truth to your\u00a0life is that it enables you to judge things rightly, including the spirits that talk to you.\u00a0 Some spirits sound sweet, but the truth gives a right standard to judge by.\u00a0 And you will judge all things rightly if you have the Spirit of Truth.\u00a0 You judge people by God\u2019s Spirit, for in it are His knowledge, the knowledge\u00a0 of God.\u00a0 The truth enables you to judge rightly, to do what Jesus said in John chapter 7: \u201cJudge righteous judgment.\u201d\u00a0 Now, Jesus knew those disciples couldn\u2019t do that yet because the Spirit had not yet come, but he told them, \u2018\u2019When the spirit is come, it\u2019ll remind you of everything I have said.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The truth is valuable for your whole life, for judging situations at work, at school, at home.\u00a0 How can you judge things rightly if you don’t know the truth?\u00a0 You know for yourselves that when you meet God\u2019s people, they cannot judge you rightly if they\u2019re going by a false standard somebody talked them into engraving on their heart.\u00a0 That\u2019s why you can be merciful, because that\u2019s the best they can do.\u00a0 They can\u2019t judge rightly.\u00a0 But you have something to rejoice about because you know the truth.\u00a0 You can judge rightly if you take in the truth,\u00a0and God\u2019s already given it to you.\u00a0 When He gave you the Holy Ghost, He wrote the truth on your heart.\u00a0 Don\u2019t cover it over with somebody\u2019s \u201cgood idea\u201d.\u00a0 Your answer is in the Spirit that God has given you.\u00a0 \u201cJudging righteous judgment\u201d means judging according to what the Spirit tells you.\u00a0 And it is the Spirit of truth.\u00a0 You can judge nations righteously.\u00a0 Paul said we\u2019re even going to judge angels.\u00a0 You\u2019re going to judge angels use and you’re going to be put in a position (you already are but it\u2019s not manifested yet) above the angels.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

As a human born in this world, you were a little lower than the angels.\u00a0 But not now.\u00a0 Now you\u2019re joint heirs with Christ and you\u2019re going to reign with him, and he is the King of angels, which means you\u2019re\u00a0going to be princes and princesses\u00a0 over angels, judging them.\u00a0 Paul asked the Corinthians, \u201cIf you are not able to judge situations in this life, how are you going to judge the world?\u201d\u00a0 God sends our way conflicts and misunderstandings and people with different ways of dealing with life to train us to judge righteous judgment so that we might qualify to be good rulers with Jesus.\u00a0 We already have the answer to every problem God\u2019s going to send if we will only listen to what the Spirit is saying to our hearts, if we\u2019ll judge by the spirit instead of by the flesh.\u00a0 You have the answer.\u00a0 Your heart already knows.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
