{"id":16330,"date":"2026-10-18T08:57:58","date_gmt":"2026-10-18T13:57:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=16330"},"modified":"2026-10-22T09:00:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T14:00:10","slug":"pauls-age","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/16330\/pauls-age\/","title":{"rendered":"Paul&#8217;s age"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hey Pastor John.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Leanne, Danielle and I started our study of Paul this evening.\u00a0 We\u2019re discovering we have questions as we go along and thought we would write you and get all of our questions to you.\u00a0 We just started reading and it\u2019s already feeling exciting!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our first question is, how old was Paul when he received the Holy Ghost and started preaching?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Thanks,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Michelle<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Hi Michelle.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>I am happy to hear you ladies are doing this Bible study.\u00a0 It is worth doing.\u00a0 There are many spiritual benefits in it.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>As for your question, the Bible never gives a specific age for Paul, or for any other apostle, for that matter.\u00a0 In a letter to Timothy, Paul calls himself &#8220;aged&#8221;, and in Acts7, where you have been reading, Paul is said to be a young man.\u00a0 That&#8217;s all we are ever told about Paul&#8217;s age.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>However, since the story of Paul&#8217;s baptism with the holy Ghost comes soon after Acts 7, I assume that he was still a young man.\u00a0 That is the best answer that I, or anyone, can give you on that.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Again, let me encourage you to continue learning about Paul.\u00a0 What a great man of God he was!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey Pastor John.
