The psalmist wrote in verse 4 that he &#8220;called upon the name of the LORD.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">You&#8217;ve mentioned in the past that unless you are born again, you couldn&#8217;t call upon the name of the Lord. How does this fit in? Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Jim K<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">=========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Hi Jim.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>I think that what I have said is that only God&#8217;s people, whether old or new testament, can do what is referred to by the phrase &#8220;calling on the name of the Lord&#8221;. That is a biblical phrase which refers only to the communication of God&#8217;s people with Him. There was an old testament form of it, but the new testament form is in the Spirit (Zeph. 3:9).
