I looked again at our YouTube video of Haskell receiving the holy Ghost<\/a>, the video that\u00a0the\u00a0hate-filled man commented on.\u00a0 Then\u00a0I watched\u00a0another video that was labeled, “Receiving the holy Ghost”, where a young girl was being blessed, along with many others.\u00a0 It looked like a legitimate holiness meeting, one we would love to be in, and yet the responses to that YouTube\u00a0video were much more favorable than the responses to\u00a0ours.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The only difference that I could see was the sound.\u00a0 That other YouTube video had put up the pictures of the meeting, and they\u00a0were wonderful, but the actual sounds of a holiness meeting were omitted, the sounds of music, of crying and laughing, of shouting and speaking in tongues, of rejoicing, etc.\u00a0 Instead,\u00a0lovely background music had been added, a sweet\u00a0kind of folk ballad that nobody in the world would object to.\u00a0 It made me wonder.\u00a0 Is it that\u00a0the world\u00a0can approve of\u00a0the pictures of God’s people “seeking God”, as long as the “joyful sound” is left off.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

That is one reason I believe\u00a0your work is so important John.\u00a0\u00a0You are not ashamed of the “gospel”, and we are not ashamed with you – it is the power of God unto salvation.\u00a0 It is our value to God’s children.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we start hiding who we are\u00a0so it will be “accepted”… When we\u00a0resist\u00a0being despised for what God does amongst us….\u00a0and when we stop holding on to the necessity\u00a0of the\u00a0holy Ghost (and its\u00a0sounds, feelings, and truths), then I believe we will be replaced.\u00a0 It has happened many times before, even in our own lifetime.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u00a0love to lift up what makes us “valuable” – the power of God and the holy Ghost!\u00a0\u00a0 May\u00a0He help us do it with wisdom.<\/span><\/p>\n
