Why is wisdom in proverbs 3:15 referred to as a she? Kind of random but I was just curious.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Brittany M<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">=============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Hi Brittany.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">In the original language of Proverbs, the word &#8220;wisdom&#8221; was considered a feminine word, and so, &#8220;wisdom&#8221; is referred to as &#8220;she&#8221;. That is just the way Hebrew grammar works.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Proverbs 3:15 is not the only place &#8220;wisdom&#8221; is referred to as &#8220;she&#8221;. The early verses of Proverbs 8 do the same, and other verses as well. The last half of Proverbs 8 is clearly the Son talking about his life with God during the creation of the world, but don&#8217;t let the &#8220;she&#8221; at the beginning of that chapter trouble you.
