Chapter 1<\/span><\/p>\n

1. The elder to the chosen lady, and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I but also all who have known the truth,<\/span><\/p>\n

2. because of the truth that abides within us, and it will be with us forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, in truth and in love from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Father\u2019s Son.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. I was overjoyed that I found some of your children walking in the truth, just as we received commandment from the Father.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. And now, I entreat you, lady (not as though I am writing a new commandment to you, but that which we had from the beginning), that we love one another. <\/span><\/p>\n

6. And this is love, that we live by His commandments. This is the commandment (as you have heard from the beginning), that you should walk in love.<\/span><\/p>\n

7. For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ when he comes into flesh; this is the deceiver and the antichrist. <\/span><\/p>\n

8. Watch yourselves, that we do not lose the things that we\u2019ve worked for, but that we receive a full reward.<\/span><\/p>\n

9. Everyone who turns aside and doesn\u2019t remain in the doctrine of Christ does not have God; the one who remains in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. <\/span><\/p>\n

10. If anyone comes to you and doesn\u2019t carry this doctrine, do not receive him into your house. Don\u2019t even offer him a greeting,<\/span><\/p>\n

11. for the one who welcomes him partakes of his evil deeds. <\/span><\/p>\n

12. Although I have many things to write to you, I didn\u2019t want to do so with paper and ink, but I do hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy might be full.<\/span><\/p>\n

Concerning your answer to Rob S. about 1Jn.\u00a010, would we be partaking of one’s doctrine if we allow such groups as: Jehovah\u00a0Witness or some of the other “church” groups that come knocking door to door? I know it’s all but hopeless to talk with them about truth, but it feels good to allow them in, on occasion, and give my testimony.\u00a0 (Sometimes I feel in my Spirit “Enter at your own risk”.:) )\u00a0 I let some enter\u00a0one time while Brittany was here a couple of years ago to let her see how the Spirit handles the spirit they are under.<\/span><\/p>\n
