{"id":4204,"date":"2014-01-24T22:35:07","date_gmt":"2014-01-24T22:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=4204"},"modified":"2014-01-24T22:35:07","modified_gmt":"2014-01-24T22:35:07","slug":"ezra-made-them-understand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/4204\/ezra-made-them-understand\/","title":{"rendered":"Ezra made them understand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hi John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Last night, \u00a0I was reading Nehemiah, the part where Ezra stood up and read the law, and all the people &#8220;understood it&#8221;&#8230; with the help of the Levites and priests, and repented and sought God.\u00a0 And they told them not to weep, but that it was a day to look to the Lord&#8230; and\u00a0after that,\u00a0they celebrated the feast of booths, with great rejoicing, and there never was a feast of booths like that one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Oh, that God would let His\u00a0people &#8220;understand&#8221;, and DO what the Spirit says.\u00a0 We&#8217;d be rejoicing, and the presence and power of God would be amongst us.\u00a0 I wonder if this will get through to God&#8217;s children\u00a0any time while I live.\u00a0 Until then, we can be thankful for what God HAS done, it&#8217;s up to what\u00a0God does.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I love you, John, and your work.
