{"id":5550,"date":"2015-02-26T15:47:11","date_gmt":"2015-02-26T15:47:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=5550"},"modified":"2015-02-26T15:47:11","modified_gmt":"2015-02-26T15:47:11","slug":"i-love-brother-hunnings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/5550\/i-love-brother-hunnings\/","title":{"rendered":"I love Brother Hunnings!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Hi everyone!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Brother Zoli has been reading my father&#8217;s biography. \u00a0He sent me an excerpt from the book (below), and added a brief comment afterward.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">BROTHER HUNNINGS GETS UNSAVED<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">One of the first people with whom my father discussed his revelation from God concerning the new and quickly-spreading doctrine of \u201cgetting saved\u201d was Brother Hunnings. He found Brother Hunnings standing alongside a street and began to explain what God had said to him and how the truth had been revealed, not knowing what kind of reaction the older man would have. Brother Hunnings kept looking down, listening in silence, his handlebar mustache curling up on his cheeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">When my father finished talking, he stood still and waited for Brother Hunnings\u2019 response. The elder pondered for a few moments what had been told him, his face turned down toward the ground. At length he said very calmly, \u201cNow, let me see if I understand what you\u2019re saying.\u201d With that, he made an \u201cX\u201d in the dirt with the toe of his shoe and said, \u201cThis \u2018X\u2019 is the filling station.\u201d Then with the toe of his shoe he drew a line in the dirt, saying, \u201cAfter we\u2019re filled, we live in this world until we die or Jesus comes.\u201d And with that, he drew another \u201cX\u201d at the end of the line. \u201cAnd that is the saving station. You\u2019re saying that the saving station is at the end of the line, not at the beginning.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">My father said, \u201cYou\u2019ve got it!\u201d Brother Hunnings began to help him preach the new message everywhere they went.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I love it!! :)))<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Zoli<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everyone!
