Hi Pastor John.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus taught me something today. I was driving down the road thinking about different careers.\u00a0I thought about morticians and those who handle funerals.\u00a0Jesus showed me a little old lady with white hair, full makeup with heavily painted cheeks, and blue dress shoes on.\u00a0 The thought that Jesus gave me was that even when the flesh knows someone is dead, it tries to make it appear alive. The whole world walks through life spiritually dead, but even in death, the flesh will hold on to the appearance of being alive, paying to embalm a body so that it stay in life-like condition,\u00a0and trusting in ceremonies until the very end.\u00a0\u00a0It was a very sober feeling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I listened to a\u00a0CD today with you speaking about Uncle Joe and his cancer testimony.\u00a0 You said Uncle Joe would say that he wished he could get back to that place with God.\u00a0 Uncle Joe didn’t want the cancer (being in the fire) but he wanted to be ALONE WITH GOD.\u00a0 Hearing that made me think of you and what your going through right now.\u00a0 You are on our hearts here.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you.\u00a0 Things are going well.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, even when the body is dead, the flesh is still lying to us.\u00a0 May God help us not to believe the flesh but to \u201cwalk after the Spirit\u201d and really live.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Son of God spoke through David to his young son Solomon in Proverbs 8 and said, \u201cAll they who hate me love death.\u201d\u00a0 That is the condition of this whole world.\u00a0 It loves death because it hates the Son of God.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Thankfully, David was also moved by the Spirit to tell us how to love life:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Psalm 34<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Come, you children, hearken unto me.\u00a0 I will teach you the fear of the Lord.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. What man is he who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Let\u2019s do that, Beth!\u00a0 Let’s love life together, and spend eternity with Jesus and those who are like him.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
