For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">So, Token and I did some research and looked up the word &#8220;manifested&#8221; in the Oxford English Dictionary and it said &#8211; to reveal itself as existing or operative . . . . Token says &#8220;in service&#8221;\u00a0 \ud83d\ude0e<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">How many things are we going to find now that the Lord has opened our eyes to the truth about the Father and the Son, as we go through the Bible, that have been there the whole time and we didn&#8217;t know what they meant or at least the extent of it?\u00a0 It&#8217;s exciting to think about them&#8230;reminds me of this scripture, which is my favorite:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><em>&#8220;Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; Phillipians 4:8<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">These things are altogether lovely to me!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude0e<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#000000;\"> Amy<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How about this?\u00a0 \ud83d\ude0e\u00a0 I was looking up scriptures on &#8220;The Son of God&#8221; and found this one. 1John 3:8 &#8220;He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
