{"id":703,"date":"2010-01-15T11:44:34","date_gmt":"2010-01-15T15:44:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/Correspondence\/?p=703"},"modified":"2010-01-15T11:44:34","modified_gmt":"2010-01-15T15:44:34","slug":"discernment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/703\/discernment\/","title":{"rendered":"Discernment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hey Pastor John!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I just wanted to write a few thoughts and things that have happened to me this week.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nAfter Saturday night Revelation class I started praying for True Discernment from God.\u00a0 I thought &#8220;without discernment, and everything is just my opinion, and I am going to be wrong and not handle a situation right, every time.\u00a0 I want to see things the way they are and still have the Love of God!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">This week I heard the spirit say &#8220;True Discernment is also knowing yourself.\u00a0 it&#8217;s not walking around pretending you feel something or are something because then you are already believing a lie and can&#8217;t see or admit the truth.&#8221; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Monday I had to go get some medicine at the pharmacy.\u00a0 The girl at the window was so rude, and I felt so bad and tired.\u00a0 As I was sitting at the window waiting for the medicine, it hit me, &#8220;No, I am not picking that spirit up from her.\u00a0 I am here for medicine only.\u00a0 That spirit doesn&#8217;t belong to me.&#8221;\u00a0 And when I drove off, I didn&#8217;t even feel anything in me at all toward her.\u00a0 I felt like I needed to just get home and take care of what did belong to me.\u00a0 I got further down the road and heard, &#8220;NOW YOUR GETTING IT&#8221;\u00a0 Wow!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">This has been a sweet week for me because I could feel Jesus with me helping me all the way!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Sorry didn&#8217;t mean to be so long.\u00a0 I just had to tell on Jesus .
