{"id":7209,"date":"2016-04-13T00:25:52","date_gmt":"2016-04-13T00:25:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=7209"},"modified":"2016-04-13T00:25:52","modified_gmt":"2016-04-13T00:25:52","slug":"a-thankful-heart-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/7209\/a-thankful-heart-2\/","title":{"rendered":"A Thankful Heart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hi Pastor John!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I am so happy!\u00a0 I am just happy.\u00a0 I love hearing from Jesus and learning how to be more like him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Last week, as I was getting ready for work one morning, Jesus whispered something to my heart.\u00a0 Jesus whispered, &#8220;It is good to be under your husband and to take instruction from him.\u00a0 It is good to be a good wife.&#8221; \u00a0I thought about it all day.\u00a0 The feelings I had were thankfulness and an eagerness to be a good wife to Jerry, for Jesus.\u00a0 I thought about Jesus changing my heart and making me able to even want to be under my husband.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">The following night, Jerry sat down with me and told me that I needed to change something I had been doing.\u00a0 Jerry told me that it was hurting my spirit, and it was going to cause trouble in my walk with Jesus.\u00a0 I knew Jerry was right.\u00a0 Jesus had already pricked my heart about it.\u00a0 How sweet it was of Jesus to prepare my heart!\u00a0 I feel so thankful to have a husband that can help me and keep me on track.\u00a0 That is a gift from Jesus.\u00a0 I am also thankful that Jesus gave me a heart that is thankful for that correction.\u00a0 That came from Jesus.\u00a0 I\u00a0was never able to take instruction or correction from anyone.\u00a0 I had a rebellious heart my whole life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Sometimes, I can see the things that Jesus is changing in me, and I feel so overwhelmed with his love!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I am just happy, and I am so thankful.\u00a0 I never had a thankful heart; that came from Jesus, too!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Beth<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Pastor John!\u00a0 I am so happy!\u00a0 I am just happy.\u00a0 I love hearing from Jesus and learning how to be more like him.
