{"id":7970,"date":"2016-09-11T19:34:04","date_gmt":"2016-09-11T19:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=7970"},"modified":"2016-09-11T19:34:04","modified_gmt":"2016-09-11T19:34:04","slug":"knowledge-of-good-and-evil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/7970\/knowledge-of-good-and-evil\/","title":{"rendered":"Knowledge of Good and Evil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:medium;\">Good morning!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:medium;\">I found myself singing this old song in my heart this morning, &#8220;Some day, some happy day, from sin set free. \u00a0I&#8217;ll be with Christ forever, some day, some day&#8221;.\u00a0 I got to thinking about being in heaven and I remembered a scripture that stated\u00a0something like\u00a0&#8220;the former things would not be remembered or come to mind&#8221;.\u00a0 And then a question came to\u00a0mind.\u00a0 When we get to the new earth, will knowledge of good and evil be taken away?\u00a0 Or, will we be so much like Jesus that\u00a0knowledge of such\u00a0will simply become irrelevant?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:medium;\">Billy H.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===========<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:medium;\">Hi Billy.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:medium;\">Isaiah said, &#8220;The former things will not come to mind.&#8221; \u00a0And in Revelation, we are told that God will wipe away all tears, which means, I assume, that He will take away from us the memory of loved ones who refused to obey the gospel of Christ and were cast into the Lake of Fire. \u00a0Otherwise, how could we ever be happy?<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:medium;\">Other than that, we are told little about what we will be allowed to remember.
