John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I loved what you said last night regarding Oral Roberts and others who had an anointing to perform miracles but yet teach doctrine contrary to the truth. \u00a0In essence, I believe what you said was that God is not bothered by what these men are teaching to the point of preventing His anointing and power to work through these men. \u00a0Jesus is seeking sincere hearts, and he is ready to forgive anyone who repents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I may not have stated your exact words, but I felt a sense of liberty from what you said. I have been guilty in the past of trying to reason with those for example, who believe they are saved. I have learned that it is much better to avoid these kinds of conversations and focus on what Jesus has done in their lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As I was reading my Bible this morning, I ran across these scriptures which seem to speak to what you were saying last night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Luke 9:<\/span><\/p>\n

49\u00a0And\u00a0John\u00a0answered\u00a0and\u00a0said,\u00a0Master, we\u00a0saw\u00a0one casting\u00a0out\u00a0devils\u00a0in\u00a0thy\u00a0name;\u00a0and\u00a0we\u00a0forbad\u00a0him,\u00a0because\u00a0he\u00a0followeth
\nnot\u00a0with\u00a0us.<\/span><\/p>\n

50\u00a0And\u00a0Jesus\u00a0said\u00a0unto\u00a0him,\u00a0Forbid\u00a0him<\/em>\u00a0not:\u00a0for\u00a0he\u00a0that\u00a0is\u00a0not against\u00a0us\u00a0is\u00a0for\u00a0us.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mark 9:<\/span><\/p>\n

38\u00a0And\u00a0John\u00a0answered\u00a0him,\u00a0saying,\u00a0Master, we\u00a0saw\u00a0one casting\u00a0out\u00a0devils\u00a0in\u00a0thy\u00a0name,\u00a0and\u00a0he\u00a0followeth\u00a0not\u00a0us:\u00a0and\u00a0we\u00a0forbad<\/span>

39\u00a0But\u00a0Jesus\u00a0said,\u00a0Forbid\u00a0him not\u00a0for\u00a0there\u00a0is\u00a0no\u00a0man\u00a0which shall\u00a0do\u00a0a\u00a0miracle\u00a0in\u00a0my\u00a0name,\u00a0that\u00a0can\u00a0lightly\u00a0speak\u00a0evil\u00a0of\u00a0me.<\/span><\/p>\n

40\u00a0For\u00a0he\u00a0that\u00a0is\u00a0not\u00a0against\u00a0us is\u00a0on\u00a0our\u00a0part.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pastor John,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That was a very good email from Tom, describing the love of God shown to us last night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The scriptures from Luke and Mark, that Tom shared in his email are right-on with the new liberty that we were just offered in last night’s meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

That liberty is more freedom in the Spirit! \u00a0Freedom to live, without apology to anyone! \u00a0Freedom to love with our cups running over for other people, without pausing to take a “flesh break” to add the disclaimer: “they don’t know the truth, but…..” \u00a0It is freedom to just love, period, whenever God has loved someone! Again God has shown us that we are free!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last night’s message let me understand this: In whomever Jesus dwells, to any measure, it is so by the Father’s doing. \u00a0And it is holy, and its value is immeasurable…. in every person.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pastor John, I feel like we were just given permission to “eat up” every little bit of Jesus, wherever He may be found. That includes loving others that God has touched, without fear, while receiving every good and right thing that they have received from God as well. \u00a0We can trust Jesus completely to keep us all the while. The real boundaries of all of our comings and goings are in His Spirit, within us. We don’t need any self-imposed limitations; we may impede His work.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We can trust Jesus”. \u00a0That was the other part of the message last night. We can trust him…while we live! Yes, in everything that we do. \u00a0No fear, no excuses, no disclaimers – just normal life in Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am instantly made better by this. \u00a0It removes walls from around my heart that God did not put up. \u00a0Those walls are there, and they extinguish life and fellowship instead of promoting it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe this love that we have been shown can compel others to abandon their chains too. If anything can do that, surely the love of God is it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for last night.<\/span><\/p>\n
