{"id":8562,"date":"2017-01-05T00:15:43","date_gmt":"2017-01-05T00:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=8562"},"modified":"2017-01-05T00:15:43","modified_gmt":"2017-01-05T00:15:43","slug":"touch-during-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/8562\/touch-during-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Touch during Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hi John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Was so glad to hear the good report from Lou.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I&#8217;d like to praise God for last night&#8217;s feelings too, and a touch I received.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">For three weeks I had been having throat issues again, where I could not swallow due to extreme dryness and a lump in my throat, especially at night &#8211;\u00a0below my sinuses, and above my esophagus.\u00a0 It was like a wad of solid\u00a0phlegm would not move out of there, no matter how hard or many times I swallowed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">It had grown worse for the past two weeks, finally, yesterday morning it was so bad that\u00a0I made an appointment with the ENT doctor (the\u00a0morning of the meeting), which\u00a0they set for\u00a0<span>Jan 19<\/span>(the earliest they could get me in unless a cancellation came up)&#8230;. I wanted to\u00a0make sure\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0nothing real\u00a0serious, since it felt like an &#8220;object&#8221; was in my throat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">During the meeting (\u00a0I felt the Spirit on me several times, and my throat was actually\u00a0OK during the meeting\u00a0&#8211; so much so, that I noticed\u00a0my throat\u00a0wasn&#8217;t so bad as it had been earlier in the day.\u00a0 When I got home from the meeting\u00a0I told Song that I felt God had touched me sometime during the testimonies and your preaching&#8230; she had been praying for me for a good while now, so she was happy for me.\u00a0 Last night I slept without waking\u00a0from throat troubles, as I had for\u00a0many days before.\u00a0 And today, I felt NO lump in the throat\u00a0at all, and just a very mild dryness (and as I type this at\u00a0<span>7:30<\/span>\u00a0this evening, I can&#8217;t say that I feel any discomfort or noticeable unusual dryness at\u00a0<u>all<\/u>.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Praise the Lord for a touch!\u00a0 I really needed one, and I&#8217;m thankful to get His relief.\u00a0 The power of God is wonderful, and I love how Jesus touches us, over and over &#8230;. He is never lacking anything we need.\u00a0 I wanted to tell on Jesus&#8230;\u00a0Praise the Lord, my throat is feeling much better today than it has for many weeks now, and I believe relief came during\u00a0last night&#8217;s meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Gary<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi John, Was so glad to hear the good report from Lou.
