Were the angels that ministered to Elijah after his journey and to Jesus following the Temptation for example, sending them a message?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Thanks, Jim K.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Hi Jim.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Messengers deliver things from one source to another.\u00a0 Those &#8220;things&#8221; may be words or, as in the cases you mentioned, other things.\u00a0 In both cases, the angels had been sent by God with instructions to feed those two desperate men.\u00a0 The food was their &#8220;message&#8221;.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em> The main point is that none of those angels did anything on their on.\u00a0 Had they not been sent, they would not have gone to Elijah or Jesus.\u00a0 That is what makes them messengers.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey John, I was thinking today about what you said about angels being deliverers of messages only.
