Bro John,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I loved Billy’s email (see Meeting \/ Last Night 9\/7\/2017).\u00a0 I’ve been thinking along those same lines this week: just how much has been given to us, and do we really appreciate it with our whole being.\u00a0 If we do, we will live like it and treat others with a godly love.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Billy said about the order of God for our families (God, Jesus, Pastor, Husband, Wife, Children), if we are not in line with God’s government, then the family is out of order (and most of us have surely been there)!\u00a0 At first, it may not seem like a big thing to let small things slide by, but over time, it gradually gets worse and becomes one big mess.\u00a0 It takes time for parents to learn how to do certain things to keep the family in line, but we have been given so much godly instruction by a godly pastor and others who have been wonderful examples, the excuses are sometimes pitiful.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My own testimony\u00a0on Sunday\u00a0encouraged me so much.\u00a0 I’ve been telling myself all this week that God will take care of me because He’s always done it.\u00a0 That was so good for me to go back over all that and refresh my memory!\u00a0 It was so real to me that, at times, I felt like I was back in time.\u00a0 I want to always be real with God and myself.<\/span><\/p>\n

I know that none of us can really understand a situation unless we’ve been there. We cannot know the feeling of being told we have cancer or the hurt of losing a loved one (and many other things) unless we’ve really experienced it.\u00a0 So I know young mothers cannot understand the wonderful blessing of being able to stay home and take care of their own children, being able to choose when they go to town and buy groceries or even a simple thing such as taking a walk during the day.\u00a0 To me, that would be top of the line.\u00a0 I do pray for them, that God will put the value of that into their hearts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I looked up the words to that song you sang\u00a0Sunday, “God Will Take Care Of You” (by Civilla D. Matin) and it blessed me all over again.\u00a0 The words are certainly true:<\/span><\/p>\n

Be not dismayed whate’er betide,<\/span>
\n Beneath His wings of love abide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chorus<\/span>
\n God will take care of you,<\/span>
\n Thro’ ev’ry day, O’er all the way;<\/span>
\n He will take care of you, God will take care of you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thro’ days of toil when heart doth fail,<\/span>
\n When dangers fierce your path assail.<\/span><\/p>\n

All you may need He will provide,<\/span>
\n Nothing you ask will be denied.<\/span><\/p>\n

What a wonderful God we serve!\u00a0 What a wonderful pastor He has given us!<\/span><\/p>\n
