{"id":9932,"date":"2017-10-31T15:33:00","date_gmt":"2017-10-31T15:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=9932"},"modified":"2017-10-31T15:33:00","modified_gmt":"2017-10-31T15:33:00","slug":"forbearance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/9932\/forbearance\/","title":{"rendered":"Forbearance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Pastor John,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u200bI was talking to Jesus yesterday on the way to work. \u00a0I had just finished listening to Donna&#8217;s song, &#8220;Run to my Jesus&#8221;.\u00a0 I was asking Him to \u201cempty me and fill me at His command,\u201d as the song says. \u00a0Then I came to a stoplight, and the car in front of me had a license tag that read, &#8220;4bearance&#8221;.\u00a0 That really struck me because you just don&#8217;t see that everyday. \u00a0So, I looked up the definition: \u00a0\u201cSelf-control; patient restraint; hold back, abstain.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I thought about that off and on, all day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Last night, I got home and started reading. \u00a0I wanted to find out where that word was in the Bible, and I found it in Romans.\u00a0 I read in chapter 2 and by the time I had finished, I had such a fear of God in my heart\u00a0that I began to pray . . .
