Faith in the Love of God
Jesus touched me this morning with these verses. I shouldn’t even be here in the truth, but God had mercy. I shouldn’t have children, but God had mercy. I felt faith and love going all through my belly to my toes reading these verses. Jesus can do things!

Jesus Doing Stuff!
I loved last night!! I can’t put into words all I felt but it was doing STUFF! God kind of stuff!! It was making me fall deeper in love with the truth and you and everyone in the room❤ I loved watching you ask Tim questions. It brought what we were reading to life! I thought about how it’s been said, “I can’t believe I believe this!” Then to be sitting in the room with a teacher who is being taught by God and people who have heard from God!! I left there in awe in my heart of what Jesus has and is still doing!!

The Power of God!
Good morning Pastor John,
This morning on my way to work I was listening to Darren’s song, “Are You Really There?” I started thinking about the first time I ever felt the power of God. I loved it..still do! What we would do without the power of God? I felt the spirit all the way to work! It was a wonderful way to start the day, praising God and feeling His power!

What the Spirit has been Saying
Hey Pastor John,
I have been taking notes from the meetings over the past few months, and I started noticing that in each meeting, the Spirit, through you, has been giving us specific instructions during or sometimes just at the end of the meeting. So much so, I felt impressed to go back to December, over a six month period, and just see what was said. Here is what I found. It ended up being 4 pages of instructions! And, I am sure I missed some, and some of them are repeated because they were repeated in the meeting. I didn’t want to leave them off. I did not include quotes, of which there were many, I just included the “instructions” given. This was so good to me, I wanted to pass it on.
Very encouraging and serious.

Iron Kingdom Book – “The Fourth Century”
Pastor John,
After reading the excerpt from the Iron Kingdom book, “The Fourth Century”, I felt such a soberness. I got on my knees and began to pray. I felt a fear come over me and I asked Jesus to help me stay close to him.
I felt such a sadness for all God’s people. Everyone is waiting and preparing for the Antichrist to come, but it’s already here and has been here.
I saw this scene from the movie “Twister” in my mind. Everyone was a drive-in movie theater and just watching the show, not worrying about anything. Then the “weather specialist” saw on the radar that a tornado was coming. He jumps out of the van and yells, “It’s coming! It’s coming!” Then in the darkness there was lightening, and the other specialist said, “It’s already here!” People began running, screaming, looking for shelter. This is how I saw Christianity, people think “it” is coming, but it’s already here and they’re running for shelter, but running to the wrong place.
I started praying, “Please Jesus, let your people see you and know that you are the answer and that you are their shelter!”
This book is so good and so needed for God’s people. I’ve started reading those nine pages again because there is so much good food in them! Imagine when you’re finished!

Satan’s Greatest Acheivement
Pastor John,
I just left a construction site and in hindsight, I think this is one of the saddest things that I have ever experienced.
The superintendent and I became engaged in a conversation about our walk in Christ. In summary, this is the doctrine he is defending: He is a sinner, that has to sin, but he is saved and raptured right now.
No one has to, or even can live right and to commit multiple and willful acts of murder (His words), will never change the fact that he is going to heaven. The very act of trying to live right is to deny the free grace that God has given to men. God cannot see sin anymore.
It is sin to have hope in Christ and a hope of salvation. “Hope” is sin, it denies the fact that he is saved already.
I think this next one is possibly the saddest of all.
To have an experience with God is to be in communication with Satan, because there is no such thing as an experience with God. An “experience” would undermine the whole point of God’s grace.
He told me, regrettably and sincerely, that my experiences with Jesus are actually experiences with Satan himself, and that my new birth experience, and the tongues that came with it, are the Devil’s.
Pastor John, this man is so effectively insulated by this filthy doctrine, that he cannot consider my testimony, that I shared with him. He is insulated from God’s voice, even if he hears it!
Is this Satan’s crowning achievement?
Christianity has taught this man that “God is actually Satan”. Then that begs the question, “Who is Satan in that religion?”
I have never met a person so thoroughly boxed in on all sides. I’ve heard about it, and read about it. There was not a crack in which I could attempt to help him. There was no point at which we could even begin to reason together. All I did was make him angry when I spoke. So I stopped.
The evil that beguiles him is bigger than me. I cannot do anything against it. And I cannot help him. I don’t know how.
May Jesus rescue him, just the way he rescued all of us.

Hi Jerry.
No, that man’s doctrine, clever as it is, protects him against anything we may do to try to save him, but it is far from “Satan’s crowning achievement”. Satan knows better than what that foolish man believes. His greatest achievements will be accomplished among those who have many experiences with God (and become proud of it), not among those who deny them.
That poor guy’s doctrine is just silly, schoolyard logic. And he will lose his soul because of it.

I presume when you say “schoolyard logic” that you mean it’s ridiculous and “illogical”…like children trying to rationalize a wrong idea by using their own version of “logic”. Right?
That must have been a very tense situation for Jerry.
It reminds me of how people can become so insane with their schoolyard logic. I spoke with a woman once about my new birth experience and she was so insulted by my implication that she was not born-again, that she tried to tell me she WAS born again—because she had given birth to a baby and that meant she had a born-again experience! She got so furious when I explained about the Spirit and the necessity of speaking in tongues she stormed out of the room, screaming, “Don’t tell me I haven’t had a born-again experience. I’m a mother of two children!!!” The light exposes the darkness and there is no reasoning with some people.
Another previous work associate of mine who does have the holy ghost, defends her “saved now” doctrine because she couldn’t imagine waking up each day not knowing she was safe in God, because her father was so abusive to her in her childhood that she needs to feel saved now or she just couldn’t function. Thus, she would not accept my testimony that our salvation is a future hope— that only the faithful will receive. She wants to feel “saved”, here and now, so that’s just what she is going to believe, so she can sleep at night.

Yes, something like that. Those two strange examples are about as logical as early Christians, Gentiles, claiming Peter, a Jew, as their first Pope. Paul was the apostle for the Gentiles. Peter’s gospel was never intended for them. Go figure.
Seems easier to me just to believe the truth and love it. Let’s just do that.

I was going thru Revelation got to 3:4. If there were a “few names in Sardis whose garments were white,” does that mean they hadn’t forsaken the correct doctrine?

Hi Wendell.
As close as this was to Paul’s time, I would think they did know the truth and were faithful to it. If it had been a hundred years later, or today, I would say no, that they were just living morally upright lives, since Paul’s eternal gospel was quickly forgotten, and still is.

Peace Tonight
Pastor John,
Tonight felt so good. When you were singing your song Feel for Peace I closed my eyes and whispered Jesus and it felt like he was rubbing my shoulders. I felt every burden lift, I felt like I could have just melted. I feel very thankful and very blessed to be here and to be able to feel rest like that. It was sweet to be with everyone tonight; it’s been a while.

Iron Kingdom – Slander is Christianity
Pastor John,
Last night, I printed out the section of the Iron Kingdom book that you sent. I read the first two pages. Wow Pastor John. You know what kept jumping out at me? I have always thought of Satan being called THE FATHER OF LIES and THE SLANDERER being due to the Garden of Eden and slandering God in Eves heart. Also as being cunning in distracting hearts from God. What I felt when I read those two pages felt so much bigger. Jesus calling Satan THE FATHER OF LIES and THE SLANDERER is about so much more. Satan has gone to such lengths to build this empire of corruption and the WHOLE world calls this corruption Jesus. I guess to break it down I feel like I got to see out of the box. I had this little boxed in idea of what that name The SLANDERER meant and it’s so much bigger. I keep thinking no one will believe this. When Jesus comes back and every soul knows the Truth and sees what Jesus is showing us now , it will all be so out of their box. It is so much bigger. This is hard to put in words. The Slander is Christianity. The Father of lies is because of the LIE OF CHRISTIANITY not Eve and the Garden. I feel so excited and so in awe. I went to bed with it and woke up at 5 a.m. just in awe of seeing it. It feels BIG!
